Cheque Slams The Headies For Snubbing Him Once Again.
Nigerian Hip Hop artiste has slammed The Headies for not recognizing him in the rap category.
He took to Twitter to rant after they unveiled the nominees’ list and once again he wasn’t recognized.
According to Cheque, their refusal to acknowledge him is the reason Hip Hop has reminded stagnant in Nigeria.
He also informed them that he will continue dropping hits even though he doesn’t get his flowers from them.
“Another year and the HEAdIES fails to recognize my music in the Rap category, while melodic rappers like Durk and Roddy are idolized in the rap scene worldwide That’s why HiPhop has remained Stagnant HERE but It’s Calm I will still be dropping HiTs even if I don’t get my Flowers”.
