Killers of the Flower Moon: Apple TV+ Releases Leonardo DiCaprio’s New Crime Drama

Killers of the Flower Moon: Apple TV+ Releases Leonardo DiCaprio’s New Crime Drama.

Apple Original Films has announced that the historical drama starring Leonardo DiCaprio and Robert DeNiro, based on the real-life murders of members of the Osage Nation in 1920s Oklahoma, will begin streaming this Tuesday on premium video-on-demand and electronic sell-through for digital purchase.

Then, at some point, it will be made available for streaming on Apple TV+. Apple’s release did not specify the cost for watching “Killers of the Flower Moon,” though.

As the site Decider said, “the announcement did not specify how much the film will cost on platforms like Amazon Prime, Vudu, Google Play, and more, and none of those listed retailers have the film available for pre-order at this time.

“However, ‘premium’ on-demand movies tend to cost upwards of $30 or more to purchase a digital copy of the film, before it is released on DVD, Blu-ray, or streaming.”

The film, which will probably be a major Oscar contender, was just named the best film of the year by the New York Film Critics Circle. It also stars Lily Gladstone and Jesse Plemons.

So far, ‘Killers of the Flower Moon’ has earned about $150 million in ticket sales at cinemas worldwide.
