The victims were identified as Vinod (43), his wife Zubi Abraham (37), and their daughter Johan (11). Hailing from Kottayam in Kerala, the family had checked into a private resort on Saturday, situated in the picturesque and wooded hills of Kodagu, a region popular among tourists.
The preliminary investigation indicates that the couple took their own lives after committing the tragic act of ending their daughter’s life. The police are actively reaching out to the family’s relatives, and arrangements are being made for their arrival in Kodagu to facilitate further inquiry and support.
