Kibar, originally known as Odeh Israel Okpoto is a Nigerian song writer, composer and recording artist from Ogun state, although he shares strong ties with his Edo roots. The 24 year old is set to release his official debut titled “BOTHER” and is produced by Chopam.
Kibar is an origin of Ogun state, but was born in Edo state where he had a brief childhood before moving to a series of Nigerian states, including Lagos the home of Nigeria entertainment. His musical roots involve church choir and school music curricular activities where the youngster got awareness for his skills with musical instruments like the talking drum and a few others.
The afro pop youngster has an early music background and has shown his interest and passion for the craft since he was a kid, making a name for himself throughout his community and winning many hearts and accolades along the way.
The multi talented singer and songwriter has harnessed his early musical instrument skill set to understand sound and is currently on route to becoming one of the most prominent fast rising stars in Africa entertainment.
The 24 year old recording artist Kibar kicked off his official music career with a single titled “BOTHER”. An emotional love story, in the case where a guy is begging for love and attention from a lover, but each time he makes a move it is always a disappointment because he has no money. But in the end he was able to make a lot of money the lady could not imagine, and she kept begging/ bothering to come back, but it was too late.
