Security Threat: FCTA Orders Immediate Closure Of Private Schools In Abuja.

Due to security threats, the Federal Capital Territory has ordered the immediate closure of all private schools in Abuja. Punch reports that the directive was issued to the private school owners by the FCT Education Secretariat. A statement released by the National Association of Proprietors of Private Schools in Nigeria, Abuja, asked all school owners to close by today Wednesday, July 27.

“Dear school educators, instruction reaching me now from the Ag. Director DQA is that the FCT Education secretariat has directed that schools are to make sure all examinations going on should be ended by Wednesday, July 27, 2022, and all students including those in boarding should be allowed to go home for the holiday.

Those writing external examinations and schools that have planned their end of the year speech and prize giving day beyond Wednesday, 27th could go ahead as planned but must put adequate security in place to safeguard both students and staff of their schools, you are addressed strictly to the above instructions”.

Confirming the authenticity of the statement, the publicity secretary, NAPPS, AMAC, Peter Edoh said, “Yes. It is very true”.

Earlier in the week, the Federal Ministry of Education ordered the immediate closure of one of its Unity Colleges, the Federal Government College Kwali, located in Kwali Area Council of the Federal Capital Territory Abuja following a reported terrorist attack on the neighboring Sheda community in the Area Council, which is close to the college.

Abuja has in recent times witnessed a number of terrorist attacks. Last weekend, some terrorists ambushed and killed three Presidential guards around the Bwari area council of the FCT.

Kid Cudi Says It Would Take A "Miracle" For Him & Kanye West To Be Friends Again

Kid Cudi Says It Would Take A “Miracle” For Him & Kanye West To Be Friends Again.

Kid Cudi says that it would take a “miracle’ for him to mend his friendship with Kanye West. Contrasting his beef with Ye to that of Drake’s, Cudi explained in a new interview with Esquire that he won’t be making amends anytime soon.

The Man on the Moon rapper explained:  “With all due respect, I’m not Drake, who’s about to take a picture with him next week and be friends again, and their beef is squashed. That’s not me. What I say, I mean. I will be done with you. It’s gonna take a motherfucking miracle for me and that man to be friends again. I don’t see it happening. He gon’ have to become a monk.”

“The twisted thing is that I love him, but I love you so much that I can kick you the fuck out of my life and be done with your ass. ’Cause you are not good for me,” he said, before quoting philosopher Samantha Jones. “I love myself more. I love myself more.”

“I didn’t love myself all them years you knew me,” he continued. “I love myself more now, bro. I love myself way more.”

While the two artists were once longtime friends and frequent collaborators, earlier this year, Cudi found himself pulled into West’s drama with his ex-wife, Kim Kardashian, and her then-boyfriend, Pete Davidson. Things escalated when Cudi replaced West as the headliner at Rolling Loud, which resulted in fans throwing objects at Cudi throughout his performance until he stormed off stage. West later trolled Cudi over the incident on social media.

Elsewhere in the interview, Cudi reflects on aging in hip hop, his final conversation with the late Virgil Abloh, going to therapy, and more. Cudi’s next album, Entergalactic, is due out later this year.
