Minneapolis, MN — May 11, 2023. 10:00am CST, 4:00pm WAT— Africa Chamber of Digital Commerce (ACOFDC) , an advocacy as a service organization, announced today the launch of its new startup acceleration program, Africa Startup Room.

Designed to support entrepreneurs and startups at various stages of development. This initiative aims to support aspiring entrepreneurs and emerging startups by providing them with access to venture funding, mentorship, expertise in crafting startup unicorns, and a comprehensive masterclass on the art of pivoting.

The Africa Startup Room team is composed of some exited founders, experienced entrepreneurs, investors, and industry experts, who will provide startups with valuable guidance and support throughout the acceleration process.

The African Startup Room is a transformative initiative that aims to empower African startups by providing them with venture funding opportunities, expertise in crafting successful startups, and a comprehensive masterclass on the art of pivoting.

Through curated pitching sessions, investor matchmaking, mentorship programs, workshops, webinars, and networking events, the African Startup Room seeks to foster a vibrant ecosystem of successful African unicorns that will drive economic growth, job creation, and technological innovation.

By providing startups with access to funding, expertise, and networking opportunities, the African Startup Room aims to address the challenges faced by African entrepreneurs, such as limited access to capital, lack of mentorship, and inadequate entrepreneurial skills. The ASR is for early stage startups and those that are looking to pivot. Application opens for the ASR from the 11th May to 28th May, 2023 after which successful startups will be selected within 2 Weeks for the program.
