2022 is special indeed, As Tori Spelling spends New Year’s Eve with kids while Dean McDermott fights pneumonia.
Tori Spelling and Dean McDermott spent New Year’s Eve apart amid ongoing rumors the two are headed for a divorce.
“Happy New Year’s Eve 2021,” Spelling, 48, captioned a photo with four of her children at Lake Arrowhead Resort and Spa. “The kiddos and I were so excited to continue our family tradition since my oldest were babies.
“My parents used to bring my brother and I here growing up,” she shared, adding, “I wanted my kids to continue that tradition. I can’t wait for my kids to bring their kids here one day!”
Spelling credited her son, Liam, 14, for snapping the family pic while daughters Stella, 13, and Hattie, 10, as well as sons Finn, 9, and Beau, 4, posed with their mom in front of a large Christmas tree inside the resort.
Meanwhile McDermott, 55, shared that he was stuck in bed battling pneumonia instead of out celebrating.
“Happy New year Everyone!!! I’m down but not out!! Pneumonia sucks,” he captioned a selfie-style video posted to his Instagram, “but I’m not going to let it dampen my spirits!! I hope your 2022 is full of love, light and prosperity. Much love to you all. 
”
This is the third holiday in a row that the couple, who have been married for nearly 16 years, have not posted any content together on social media.
McDermott was also noticeably absent from the family holiday card, which Spelling shared with fans on social media. She later said that McDermott was filming in Canada when the photo was taken — but the card read from “Tori & family” with no mention of her husband.
The reportedly estranged couple have been photographed together though, as photos exclusively obtained by Page Six reveal an irritated-looking Spelling taking McDermott to get a COVID-19 test.
They also took their five children to dinner on Nov. 29, which was the first time they had been photographed together in over a month.
