Yankuba Tekanyi popularly known as ‘Babayanks Manjago’ was born on 25th January 1994 at Fajikunda in The Gambia.
He did his primary school in The Gambia and came to Nigeria for his secondary and tertiary education in Zaria.
He started his music career here in Nigeria during his secondary with a friend Nura A.K.A Maweezy in 2014.
He is versatile singer/songwriter that can jump on any beat but his major genres are dancehall and afropop.
He has a collaborations with Dj AB, BOC Madaki, Deezell, Madox TBB, Mr 442 amongst many others. His single ‘Cikin Mutunci’ which features Madox TBB and Mr 442 has clicked over 100,000 across all digital platforms and still counting.
